The board of the Chapter asked the council of past chapter presidents (Past President's Council) to manage this year's election process. Thank you to all who took the time to make their voice heard in this past election. Your participation ensures that you have a voice in the leadership of your chapter.

Congratulations to the newly elected leadership! We would also like to thank all of those who ran for election including Valdery Moura, Jr.. Your willingness to step up is an important factor in the vitality of the chapter. We sincerely hope you continue your dedication to the chapter and perhaps run again.

On behalf of the Past President's Council, we wish to remind you that our great organizations is fully dependent on volunteers like those mentioned above. Without them, and the other chapter leadership, we could not provide the benefits that PMI Mass Bay provides to you. We are always in need of new volunteers to bring fresh ideas and energy to the development of our chapter. Please consider donating your time to this cause.

2017 Voting has closed

We are pleased to announce the candidates for the Board of Directors for 2017. Please review each of the candidate statements and bios below in preparation for voting starting May 1, 2017. The candidates will have the opportunity to speak at the April and May Chapter Meetings, so please come out and hear from them directly.

ELECTIONS SCHEDULE

  1. Emails with ballot login information will be emailed to all eligible voting members on May 01, 2017. If you do not receive an email from "PMI Mass Bay Chapter Nomination Committee" with ballot information, please first check your Spam folder then if not there check your email address listed on your Account at PMI.ORG to make sure it is correct. If not received, please email the elections committee at elections@pmimassbay.org. Include your PMI ID in the correspondence.
  2. Voting Closes: May 31, 2017.
  3. Election Results Announced online in June and the new BOD members will be at the June Chapter Event.

Nominations for 2017 are over

 We are looking for Leaders in the chapter to join the Board of Directors

"It is a great way to sharpen and hone your leadership and strategy abilities and contribute to the advancement of the Project Management profession"

 

These open positions provide great opportunities for you to contribute to the chapter, network with project management colleagues and leaders in the industry, give back to the profession and the community, earn PDUs and gain valuable leadership experience in the process!

Many past board members have talked about how experience on the board has helped them advance their professional skills and careers.

In addition to the great experience you will receive being in a leadership position on the Board, these roles will have one or more AVP positions that will assist in the performance of your duties. Average time commitment is approximately 2-5 hours per week.

The PMI Mass Bay Chapter will be holding elections for the following Officer positions for 2 year terms beginning July 1, 2017.
