PMI Mass Bay Chapter (PMIMBC) is committed to advancing the Project Management profession in the Greater Boston area nonprofit sector. We strive to help organizations realize the vision behind the PMI motto, "Making project management indispensable for business results."

Based solely on volunteer resources, our external, pro-bono advisory services program provides limited strategic and tactical project management assistance to qualified nonprofit organizations. These services allow the members an opportunity to earn PDU’s applying their project management expertise while servicing a community project that they personally value.

A primary component of our outreach is The Match Program.

This engaging opportunity for PMP certified Project Management professionals is a chance to give back using their skills on a nonprofit organization’s pre-scoped project. With an open rolling enrollment process, the nonprofit organizations and volunteers come together based on their mutual interests, expertise required, and as needs arise. 

Each nonprofit organization submits a Match Request and the PMIMBC volunteer submits a Match Profile. The Match committee will initiate the best match, however the phone interview between the volunteer and the organization’s lead contact will truly confirm the match and get the process started!  If you are interested in The Match Program please contact Irene Mauch at avpnonprofitoutreach@pmimassbay.org
