Details:

During this session (1 Leadership PDU) you will learn:

  • Three ways to become aware of your top stressors
  • Six benefits of clear thinking
  • How mindfulness supports clear thinking
  • A simple process for managing your mind
  • Over 20 best practices for clearer thinking

With a clear mind, we can accomplish much more.

In this interactive seminar we explore how managing our minds can help us think more clearly.  Managing our minds means being aware of our thoughts and feelings while also being engaged with the tasks at hand.  Practicing mindfulness clears our minds which enables us to be more productive.

A National Science Foundation funded a study that found the average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day.  About 80% are negative and 95% are exactly the same repetitive thoughts as the day before.  Being mindful allows us to enhance our daily experience while also potentially improving communication with others and increasing productivity.

As with any new skill, mindfulness requires practice.  We will review the Triple A’s of Change:  Awareness, Acknowledgement and Action which is the foundation of managing our minds.  We will also present over twenty best practices for clearly our minds from breathing techniques to exercise, to creativity to serving others with an open heart.  The goal is to provide a simple approach that will have a positive impact on your life.  The more we practice the more benefit we gain.  You are welcome to join us and experience the benefits yourself.
