Open Positions and Committees are Posted Here

The vitality and success of the PMI Mass Bay Chapter depends on the volunteers who give their time, experience and talents to support the mission and goals of the Mass Bay Chapter & PMI.  Becoming a volunteer increases the value and benefit you earn from the activities, while contributing to the local project management community as a whole.

Members who volunteer for the chapter:

  • Meet tons of new people. The networking and team work is amazing.
  • Create references outside the workplace to enhance the job search.
  • Build knowledge by exploring new skills, and contributing to a not-for-profit organization.
  • Develop as a leader and strategic thinker. Build your brand!
  • Earn PDUs toward continuing certification and give back to the community.

Roles have many levels of time commitment to suit any availability.  You can volunteer for a short term, long-term or single-task commitment. Some roles may take only one or two hours per month, others are more focused around a specific event or implementation.

Board members and other leadership roles do have a minimum term comittments and typically require certain ongoing responsibilities, including participating in multiple board or event meetings per month and managing the activities of a committee. But I know there is something for everyone.

I want to work with you to make your choice of volunteering a fufilling one!
