As a key delivery role, the Project Manager:

    • Reports to the Head of Customer Projects
    • Is a strong team player, responsible for delivering software implementations to high profile blue chip clients
    • Delivers products to a diverse client portfolio, including a mixture of channel partners selling the software on our behalf, system integrators who will be selling the software as part of their own solutions and clients acquired through direct sales teams
    • Has a strong financial focus on delivering benefits for both the customer and the company

 

Day to day:

      • Deliver solutions to new North American and Canadian customers
      • Estimate and create the Budget, Planning, Scope, Schedule, Resource plans and on-going management of projects to closure
      • Identify, create and manage risk and issue registers
      • Run regular status meetings and 360 degree communication with project stakeholders, closure reporting, handover to the Customer Relationship Management and Support teams
      • Create and manage change requests identified during project deliveries
      • Document ‘lessons learned’ throughout the project(s) lifecycle
      • Create quality documentation at all times over a project’s lifetime
      • Work effectively and collaboratively with all areas of the Semafone team - Sales, Design, Development, Production, Customer Relationship Management and Support

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years experience delivering projects to blue-chip clients
  • Prince2 or APM equivalent project management qualifications (this means PMP, folks!)
  • Demonstrable cost/benefit analysis and project estimating skills
  • Examples of 5+ Projects delivered to time, cost and quality
  • The experience should have been gained within a software delivery environment and preferably within the telephony space
  • Good customer-facing communication skills
  • Experience of delivering solutions within contact centre environments
  • A good technical knowledge of software and telephony systems
