Roundtable Groups are a grass roots effort of education and development for chapter members by chapter volunteers! They provide the opportunity to attend informal meetings with a small group of project management professionals to:
- Discuss current project issues and receive colleagues’ advice, feedback, and support
- Discuss current best practices within the project management profession
- Network with your peers
Mass Bay Chapter supports a few types of roundtable groups: focused on the geography like MetroWest, or a specific methodology like Agile, and birds-of a feather groups like Life-Sciences. Some are in-person only, some online only, and other a hybrid.
Roundtables have been very successful at offering members an additional opportunity to participate in chapter activities, network in smaller groups, find jobs, make connections, and learn about new project management tools and techniques. Typically they are PDU earning opportunities as well.
How To Join In
Chapter Members can join a specific roundtable by registering for the event. All upcoming roundtable events are listed here.
Additionally, members and non-members can join the mailing list for roundtables by selecting from the list, below.
Can't Find a Roundtable?
We are open to adding a Roundtable where there is demand and a member is willing to volunteer to lead the management of it. We have a well established process that, if followed, should minimize the effort for our Roundtable Owners. If you have any general questions about the Roundtable Program or you are interested in leading or co-leading a meeting in your location, please email the AVP of Roundtables Program.
